Hey spiritualbrainstorms I made a way better Gaelic Triforce!
For Wisdom I used the noun Eolas: 1: Knowledge, comprehension, discernment. 2: Science, information, -ology. 4: Incantation.
For Power I used the noun Neart: 1: Strength, power. 2: A large amount.
And for Courage I used the noun Misneach: 1: Courage. 2: Hopefulness, cheer.
Dude, I’m telling ya, Legend of Zelda is so awesome in a Gaelic perspective. Plus, Link is totally Lugh Lamhfada and Gannon is Balor.
Ogham is the Beth-Luis-Fearn font, which can be found here.

"My enemies gather, and now my battle begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall hold no lands, fight for no one crown and gain much glory. I shall live and die at my hunt. I am the spear in the dark. I am the watcher of the shores. I am the shield that guards the realms of Éire. During my hiatus I was able to go back through my mythology mixes and revamp and upgrade them. I’m going to queue it so that one a day will be re uploaded starting today.

This is what I wore my store’s pop culture costume day earlier this month.

Status Update

Hey guys, I just wanted to give you an update. I left pretty quickly on hiatus with out warning or explanation. I know it was sudden, but it had to be done. For those I don’t talk to much I’ll explain what is going on. A lot of things have bottle necked at once and I couldn’t deal with it.

Firstly my mother was diagnosed with Lymphoma. It’s mild and contained, but she still has to go through chemo. I have a lot of issues with my mother, but I still care for her and was scared.

Secondly I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, which makes a lot of sense. I have struggled with this and depression fro most of my adult life. I am still getting used to the medication and learning coping skills to get back into what I love more often.

Thirdly I have been getting back into what I love. That is working on my brewing and art. As well as trying to get out more and make actual friends in this area. I’ve also added a Music Mix Masterpost on my blog so people can see what I’ve done and who has requested what.

I have a made a few posts at the behest of my friends in Celtic Intensifies. They’ve been keeping an eye on me and making sure I’m ok along with my wife adrianners. You guys are the best and I couldn’t have wished for a better family.

I will be in Iowa next week visiting friends and family. I’ll probably end my hiatus during that week or after.

I love you guys,

Zach

"Don’t be afraid to be a warrior. Wear your armour, even if it’s your favorite t-shirt. Hold your head high. Be the [person] you were meant to be. And if anyone gives you shit, cut them down.

At the end of the day, you need to do what is best for [you]. Not anyone else. If you need to wear a sword, wear one. If you want to keep a sling in a pocket, do it.

For me, a big part of being a warrior is knowing that I’m afraid of a lot of things. But it also means having courage and to do what needs to be done. Even if that’s staying home, cuddling with a cat and drinking hot coco.

Being a warrior is a conscious choice. We do not follow orders, we’re not soldiers. We protect ourselves and should protect those who can’t protect themselves. Even if that’s cuddling with a kitty.

Because warriors and barbarians are strong for others, but we should be strong for ourselves.

Every [person] fights a different war. For some it’s depression, for others substance abuse. Or social rights.

But, if wanting to be a warrior makes you feel strong and brave. And just makes you feel great about your self. Then be a warrior."
thewanderingcelt, having probably the most inspiring be-a-warrior speech I have ever witnessed. I only edited some spelling and changed “man” to “person”, as well as editing out a person’s name (to make it more general: he was talking specifically to a guy so it makes sense in that context.)
